Abermed are delighted to support Alford Academy in this year's Young Enterprise Grampian scheme.

The scheme seeks to promote enterprise and entrepreneurship amongst young people in the North East of Scotland. This involves the operating of a small company and combines every aspect of the business, from manufacturing of products to submitting a final report at the end of the programme - with the aim of qualifying for the regional finals in May 2010.

Greig Duncan, of Abermed's Group Marketing Team, will act as a business adviser to Alfordware throughout the forthcoming months. Greig sees this as an excellent opportunity to participate in a worthwhile scheme: "The Young Enterprise programme seeks to promote creativity, learning and personal development, which are amongst our key values here at Abermed. Personally, I think that this is an excellent opportunity to put something back into the local community, whilst also providing support to a very bright group of potential future business leaders"

Alfordware will be selling their products at a number of forthcoming Christmas fares at the Aberdeen Music Hall and Inverurie Farmers' Market.
