On Friday 15 May Abermed was delighted to receive a visit from the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Peter Stephen. As Aberdeen’s civic head, Peter Stephen is actively involved in the promotion of Aberdeen at home and abroad. The Lord Provost came to Abermed’s headquarters at Forest Grove House to find out more about the work that Abermed carries out providing occupational healthcare services to companies and organisations across the UK and throughout the globe.

Donald MacKenzie, International Business Development Director for Abermed hosted the visit and showed the Lord Provost around the clinical and administrative areas at Forest Grove House. Mr MacKenzie was pleased to pass on information regarding Abermed’s growing business interests abroad especially in Kazakhstan. The Lord Provost and Mr MacKenzie discussed the encouraging progress resulting from the Co-operation Agreement between Aberdeen and Atyrau in Kazakhstan which is leading to improved links between the two economic gateway cities.
