Bryan Bennett, Abermed's UK Operations Manager

Global industrial and occupational health specialist Abermed has appointed an Operations Manager to oversee the company’s rapidly expanding business in the UK.

Bryan Bennett has joined Abermed from his position as managing director of Xm Services in Dundee, which provides engineering, training and consultancy services.

Abermed took over the provision of occupational health services from Xm Services last year and is continuing to provide occupational healthcare to employees at the Michelin car tyre factory on Baldovie Road.

Having worked for Michelin for 30 years in operational posts in the UK and France, Bryan brings to Abermed extensive experience in quality control, engineering, health and safety, environment and project management.

His newly created role will see him supporting the UK team across Abermed’s 10 offices in Scotland and England, including Dundee and the company’s headquarters at Forest Grove House, Aberdeen.

“I am joining a leadership team with the objective of ensuring that the support previously given to the UK operation is maintained and if possible, strengthened further, allowing us to continue to provide the best possible service to clients.

“Abermed is expanding rapidly and my role will be to take responsibility for the UK operation and help the team become the best it can be.”

Bryan is married with three children and lives in Broughty Ferry. Away from work he enjoys football and golf and is an active member of Dundee City Centre Church.
