Job Title:                     Medical Officer

Job Location:             Aberdeen

Hours:                         Full Time 37.5hrs per week (We would also be interested to hear from Doctors who are looking for part time or sessional employment.)

Offering excellent advancement opportunities within this fast growing company, we are looking for additional Medical Officers to join our in-house team.  Duties will include carrying out a wide range of industry medicals and taking part in our on-call rota, which may require mobilisation offshore.  Applicants must hold full GMC registration.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivery of designated client services in accordance with client contracts.  This includes:

• Examination and appraisal for fitness for work
• Pre-employment medicals and back to work assessment
• Advice to client companies on fitness for work issues
• Provision of telephone advice to medics in relation to the delivery of primary care and emergency treatment on offshore installations, on vessels at sea and overseas and other Duty Doctor tasks including mobilising offshore and visiting client premises
• To provide professional support and advice to nursing staff.
• Participation in audit as part of the physician team.
• To maintain and update professional skills as required for revalidation.
