Abermed is pleased to announce that it has appointed an Occupational Hygienist, Julie Zeiler.

Julie is a Faculty of Hygiene certified hygienist and has over 12 years Occupational Health, Safety & Hygiene experience, particularly in the Oil & Gas Industry. Julie’s experience covers many sectors of the industry from drilling, chemical manufacture and supply, subsea equipment, cuttings re-injection to production and includes in-depth knowledge of the evaluation, measurement and mitigation of health risks encountered in these sectors.

Julie has spent considerable time onshore, offshore and overseas conducting workplace health risks assessments including noise surveys and dosimetry, chemical exposure monitoring, hand-arm vibration measurements, stress assessments, manual handling and assessment of local exhaust ventilation.

Julie is also an experienced trainer who has delivered training solutions to clients ranging from subjects such as face-fit-testing to conducting noise surveys and managing health and safety. Julie has broad health, safety and hygiene experience and is able to deliver the complete solution to clients for workplace health risk management.
